Magnus and his friends arrive on Lyngvi to tie a new rope around Fenris to stop him from escaping the island. He is also responsible for killing Blitzen's father Bili and for convincing Odin to make Sam a Valkyrie. Tyr volunteered. The wolf bit off the war god's right hand and the other gods bound and muzzled him and left him on Lyngvi until Ragnarök, when he is fated to escape from his bounds. When they presented Fenris with the rope he became suspicious and agreed to let them bind him only if one of the gods put their hand in his mouth. The gods then had the dwarves make an indestructible rope to bind him. They tried to bind him twice but he broke free both times with his immense strength. He was raised by the Aesir until he quickly grew and became a threat and started to rampage across the Nine Worlds. When the gods found out about the three children, they quickly took care of them. Fenris Wolf was born to Loki and the jotunn Angrboda along with Jormungand and Hel.
